Hi guys! Welcome to my blog. Today I’m going to be chatting about my top 6 galleries in Paris! I’ve been to Paris quite a few times and am a great lover of art and and so am excited to share my top cultural experiences with you!
If you’d like to see my whole Paris itinerary from February you can check out my post here.
Top Tip: If you’re under 26 and an EU national then you can enter most galleries and museums for free if you present your identification.
For those who enjoy sculpture and the outdoors, you should definitely head to the Auguste Rodin gallery. They have an indoor exhibition which consists of smaller sculpture, drawings and paintings however the garden is where the true beauty is. You can wander through and see great masterpieces out in the open.
Top Tip: Head over around 11am when it is quieter, and then grab lunch in the cafe in the garden! The Musee Picasso is nearby too, with lots of small, cute shops in between the two so I would head there afterwards.
For the most beautiful room made with panels of waterlilies painted by Monet – this is the place to go. It is a treasure-trove of impressionist art which is situated in a garden close to the Eiffel Tower. It’s perfect for those with little time.
I loved the Picasso museum so much. Whilst there is a lot of his own artwork, there are also those who produce art in a similar style however my favourite part of the gallery is Picasso’s personal collection. The collection is on the top floor and definitely something not to miss. Continue reading “6 GALLERIES TO VISIT IN PARIS”
